Teaching(Knowing the truth)
MIND YOUR BUSINESS

This topic is funny but very interesting. Some may find it offensive but if you can hold on a little longer, you would get the full picture and what God intends we glean from this. I'm sure this would bless your life.

I remember a very passionate and funny person I know - my brother. He's so much in love with music and desires that everything is perfect. He plays the keyboard, but as the music begins, he would be busy correcting the drummer, telling him what to play, and at the same time correcting the sound guy on the mixer and every other person making mistake. To him, he wants everything and everybody to be perfect and get their lines perfectly, but there's always a problem. Once he starts correcting others, (guess what?) he misses his own lines. He starts to play rubbish, and as a keyboardist, your mistake is so obvious. So in the bid to correct others, to make sure they get their lines, he makes a mess of the whole music. Why? Because all his attention was on the people he was correcting and he lost focus on the music entirely.
_I'm sure he would smiling right now as he reads this. But he's no longer like that any more, he has grown better._
In the book of Romans 14, Apostle Paul did a very fantastic job to call the brethren he was writing to then to understand or see the bigger picture that it's all about transformation on the inside and not about uniformity on the outside.

The letter of Romans 14 was written to resolve the conflict that was about to divide the church. As the gospel spread, both the conservatives and the liberals were saved alike and also received the same Holy. But as the Church began to settle, issues started coming up between the conservatives and the liberals. Where the liberals where of the opinion that there's only a special day of worship (probably Sunday) and a particular style of worship that God accepts. The liberals were against that, saying that every single day is a day of worship and there's no specific order to follow, that it's all about a right heart and dedication to Jesus.
The conservatives were of the opinion that there's a unique lifestyle to live, a certain ritual, a certain food to eat and commands Christians must follow if they were really Christians. But the liberals were not in agreement, they believed that all things and all commandments has been fulfilled in Jesus. That all one needs to do is to believe in Jesus.
While these two parties were trying to correct each other, they were making a mess of Christ's body.
Paul had to quickly respond in a letter to save the church of the impending danger.
Look at the way Apostle Paul puts it
"Welcome those who are weak in faith, but do not argue with them about their personal opinions. Some people's faith allows them to eat anything, but the person who is weak in the faith eats only vegetables. The person who will eat anything is not to despise the one who doesn't; while the one who eats only vegetables is not to pass judgment on the one who will eat anything; for God has accepted that person. Who are you to judge the servants of someone else? It is their own Master who will decide whether they succeed or fail. And they will succeed, because the Lord is able to make them succeed.  Some people think that a certain day is more important than other days, while others think that all days are the same. We each should firmly make up our own minds. Those who think highly of a certain day do so in honor of the Lord; those who will eat anything do so in honor of the Lord, because they give thanks to God for the food. Those who refuse to eat certain things do so in honor of the Lord, and they give thanks to God. We do not live for ourselves only, and we do not die for ourselves only. If we live, it is for the Lord that we live, and if we die, it is for the Lord that we die. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord."
_Romans 14:1‭-‬8 GNT_
In other words, Paul was trying to say calm down. What's all these agitation all about? Weak or Strong, what's your business?

Painful, the same issue that plagued the Church in Paul's time is back again. Where people are busy with other people's lives and lines and are making a mess of the Christ's body.
Doctrines that has no eternal value has filled our today pulpits and altars. Messages of what to or what not to wear is taking the center stage. Discrimination of the Church next door is what a pastor now spends one and the half hour to preach on. Earrings or no earrings, cutting of hair or plaiting of hair, worshipping on Sunday or worshipping on Saturday is now the issue of conflict. And Christ's body is been dragged here and there, and divided.

Permit me like Apostle Paul, draw our attention. Church Listen! This is not the reason Christ died. This is not the reason you were saved. Who are you to judge another man's servant? C'mon, Mind your Business!
We are missing the picture, it's All about CHRIST! You're not called to be the Personal Assistant to the Holy Spirit. Do the work of evangelism, put Jesus on the inside and stop being concerned about what's going on on the outside.

Am I calling for lawlessness? No.
Am I saying that we shouldn't be our brother's keeper? No.
Am I saying that we shouldn't admonish one another? No
What I'm saying is that, we've left our business and what to start assisting the Holy Spirit to do his. It and I repeat, it is ONLY the Holy Spirit that can convict of their sins.

We've made a mess of God's Body because of our personal opinions, it's time for a turn around. It's time we get back and concentrate on the Work (business) God has called us into.

Be kind to the Weak ones without arguing with them about their opinions. If you think they are wrong, then Pray for them.
Shalom!
